Parallel
Printer Cable
The
IEEE-1284 specification covers data transfer for bidirectional parallel
interfaces: enhanced parallel ports (EPP). Embedded in this standard
are e.g. the interface standards, the pin allocation, the resolution
and error recognition. In short, EPP specifies the 1.5MB bidirectional
data transfer via parallel port and is up to 50 times faster than
a current parallel port. EPP allows the user to connect fast peripheral
devices such as disk drives, LAN interfaces, CD-ROM players and
backup systems.
A wide range of hardware manufacturers already produce devices with
this new interface. For our customers we already have the most important
cables deliverable from stock:
*Cable quality AWG 28
* Transposed in pairs
* Double-screened
